Hi everyone,

This Sunday is 18/10/2009, that is there're just 2 days left for us to welcome one of the most important days of Vietnamese women.

I'm wondering whether we would have the topic for discussion as usual or we're gonna do something a bit special then.

Though I have prepared the topic for the Sunday already, I'm just thinking of what we could do to make the day more impressive and memorable than normal days.

Everyone is welcome to contribute your idea from now till this Sunday.
Do you have any games to play together? do you wanna sing a song? or whatever you think it's interesting for a small party.

If there's no suggestion from you, I'll keep the activity as we tend to do. I'll also post the topic here and then.

I wish all the men in VN would think the same 'cuz I know some men dont even know 'bout this day but only "International Women's Day" (IWD) marked on March 8th every year.

There're few days left till our coming activity, I think we'll probably have a usual discussion on the topic you have prepared. Perhaps, we can make it "more special" by a greeting at the beginning and by asking more girls to stand up and "raise their voices" than the normal days. BTW, is the topic gonna be 'bout women?

One more thing, if you guys (men) wanna buy us (women) some drinks or ice-creams then, you're more than welcome, absolutely !! :PPP

I hope …no…. I won’t hope, should strongly recommend that we have to do some memorable impression and interesting activities for our Hyec’s girls

Why don’t we choose a topic relating VWD, for example “What do girls expect through VWD from man around them?” or “ How would you feel if your man forget doing something’s special for you?” or something like that…

We might have a special greeting but I prefer to do as usual at the beginning and do the most attractive while our activities. When all girls in Hyec focus on the topic, all men here will come to be on front of their face, singing a funny song together and give each one rose or a small special gift from Hyecians. Hope it is more than sudden .

Then, we won’t debate as usual. We might have a comedy about something funny around love and friendship at the VWD. Try to act the funniest to make our girls laugh a lot.

Hope it that is a good memory in their (woman) mind…

I like Hai's suggestion. I remember the last time Hyecian guys do such funny things like Hai's idiea is the special topic: "Mr Frog", and the last time Hyecian guys give flower to Hyecian girls is 2 years ago (the Chanchu's topic). And why not this time we combine 2 great activities like this in a topic.
@Bro Hoa: I like to open and disscus topic like this, that make me feel I contribute something in the next topic, and make others know how difficult to make a topic. It's not easy like others thing, if suddently we have a new idea about next topic but maybe that topic is "good" (everybody ready to talk about that topic) or not (few people can talk well on this topic). The "good" one is make everybody have a "land" to talk, even not talk direct the topic focuss, and everybody happy to share their knowledge, experience, idea or even the most crazy thinking ….

Discussing the next topic is like a small writing lesson. I think some guys want to write something but have nothing to share (incl me :P)., and they know their jobs or studies require them to write in English So this is the chance for them to practise their English (incl me :D). In truth, it was so long time I haven't sharing my idea in English word like this, maybe I'm good at "Chém gió" … :D.

Btwn, it's the good chance to practice writing skill, thanks Bro. A big Hug for you! (Do you want a real once?)

You do need to enhance your writing skill as well, honey :PP. I think you have have sort of problem in constructing sentences, especially when they come to long complicated ones. Many of them are grammatically incorrect or unclear to readers ( do you often think too literally in Vietnamese when you write English?).
That can make you sound inappropriate or misunderstood in conversations. :). Frankly, I am NOT even 100% sure if I got your idea by just reading your post.

For instance, you just wrote

" And discuss the next topic is like a small writing lesson…" => "To discuss / discussing the next topic is like…."
"…and they know their study, job need to write…" => "…though ( they know ) their jobs or studies require them ( to be able ) to write in English…"

By the way, in ( written ) English, we DON'T usually use the conjunction "AND" to start a ( new ) sentence/ paragraph but "additionally", "besides", "moreover", etc.

"Practice makes perfect". Im sure you can make it through a serious practice, dear.

Thanks Sis Ha, I know I'm a lazy girl in writing things enven in Vietnamese :P, that's why I said maybe I'm good at "Chém gió" :D So I'll change direct in my writing (I'll Bold my mistake). It's so cool to do this.

Uyen, just keep up your writing..?Though you still have to pay more attention to your grammatical structures, I realise that you've had a considerable improvement in your writing skill ( of course, compared with yours previously)..

Regarding the topic, I'm still thinking of what we're gonna do then….It seems like I'm getting stuck here..:((…

Don't worry…If we can not have something special, we're still able to make it impressive…:D

Ha oiiiii…. Anh co fault nao trong Writting cua anh khong the. I'm not sure about my grammar and how to write that easy for readers. If i have something not ok (wrong), i'm so happy to get your comments.

@ Mr Hoa: Do you still in the stuck situation? Why don't we have some private conversations between contributing men in HYEC. Hopefully there will be an interesting night in Hyec tomorrow.
