Before answering to your question, I would like to share with you guys a story.

It happened around 2 years ago when I was learning English in a foreign center.
One day, the lesson was about getting to know everybody in your class and introduce yourself.
We were very much interested in such activity. After a moment of being shy, I went around the room to talk to other people.
The first person I met, I immediately asked :" Hey, who are you?"
My friend was a bit shocked then, and so was my teacher. I myself, however, really didn't understand why they had such a reaction…I was embarrassed, indeed…
…..
After the activity, my teacher gently told me:" You don't know why your words made us surprised, even a bit shocked, do you? Very simple..Because you should remember one important thing that before asking someone who he/she is, you'd better introduce yourself first, and let them know who you are."
This is a very considerable and essential point that I have experienced to improve my communication skill, and just wanna share with you.

Well, I hope my story makes sense to someone..and worth notifying.

Bạn angelsummer cứ đến hòa nhập với nhóm Contributors qua các buổi sinh hoạt trong CLB hay qua các buổi cà phê, cà pháo đi nhé. Dần dần mọi thứ sẽ rõ ràng. Don't rush it! :-)

Anyway, you know, I come Hyec oncetime, and want to come frequently, want to come in order to meet all of you . I don't know why I consider everyone there as my friend, my friend indeed…
Of course, a friend indeed won't care about their friend indeed's communication skill, and so am I.However, with a stranger, we can't say "who're you" and I didn't say like that .It mean just be a question that I want to know.But maybe it was wrong about how to ask?,because you felt it has some problem… If I'm wrong, I'm so sorry.Don't blame me ,okey?

PS: I always say that I want to say, do that i want to do ,and it's just with my friend, you too :). If I say I love Hyec indeed, it mean I LOVE HYEC more and more… :X

Vâng, em Trí,
Em đang đứng thứ nhì trong giải cá độ của phòng rồi. Kém người thứ nhất 2 điểm. Trận Bồ Đào Nha - Đức, em kiếm được 7 điểm trong khi 12/14 người đoán sai. Sao hôm nay yêu đội Đức thế không biết .
Không may là sáng nay em vừa phạm một lỗi rất ngớ ngẩn. Ghi nhầm dự đoán của mình vào cột của người khác. .
Theo điều lệ của giải thì nếu dự đoán của em đúng, người đó được cộng điểm, nếu sai thì em phải trả tiền. Đen hơn nữa hôm nay là thứ 6 nên em phải dự đoán kết quả của cả 3 trận diễn ra vào thứ 6, thứ 7 và chủ nhật. Bán kết rồi. 70k VND/dự đoán sai. Thiệt hại lớn nhất có thể có là: (70k*3)*2 = 420k VND.
Hơn lúc nào hết, em cần sự may mắn. Anh chọn thời gian và địa điểm đi. Em sẽ mời mọi người một chầu cafe. Càng sớm càng tốt nhé. Ai quan tâm thì nhớ cổ vũ dùm em nhé. Em dự đoán kết quả sau 90 phút là: Croatia thắng chênh lệch 2 bàn, Hà lan thắng chênh lệch 3 bàn, Italia và Tây Ban Nha hòa. Cầu chúa, phật, thánh Ala cho con không thua

Theo điều lệ của giải thì nếu dự đoán của em đúng, người đó được cộng điểm, nếu sai thì em phải trả tiền.

Hơ, hơ… Điều lệ gì mà chuối thế? An objection is in order!!!

Em sẽ mời mọi người một chầu cafe. Càng sớm càng tốt nhé.

Chi cũng mới gia nhập gia đình HYEC hay "nhà ếch" thôi, chính xác là được 07 buổi sinh hoạt, rất thú vị và bổ ích!
Em không cần " sư huynh" hay sư tỉ " nào giới thiệu đâu. Em trực tiếp đến câu lạc bộ vào CN hàng tuần, lúc 5.30 pm, và nhớ register (đăng ký thành viên) vào khoảng đầu mỗi tháng.
Còn về trình tiếng Anh kém, chị nghĩ thế này: " all great achievements require PASSION, PRATICE & PATIENCE"( bất kỳ thành quả nào đạt được cũng đòi hỏi phải có sự SAY MÊ, THỰC HÀNH chăm chỉ và lòng KIÊN TRÌ), việc học tiếng Anh cũng vậy, và tất nhiên phải có thời gian rồi đúng không em?

I think, i was understood. Thank you a lot of!

i think it should be "understood" in BE or "got that" in AE, instead of "i was understood". And "thanks a lot" not "a lot of". Newbs are those who are new to some task* and are very beginner at it, possibly a little overconfident about it, but they are willing to learn and fix their errors to move out of that stage.. Hope this'll help.
